Changelog — Sims 4 Mod Fixer

What's shipped and what changed. Dates are when a version went live on the auto-updater. Current public version: v2.6.9.

v2.6.9 Current September 11, 2026

Improved Deep Analysis reliability.
Better game location detection across more Sims 4 setups.
Clearer guidance when a compatibility result needs additional review.
General stability and reliability improvements.
The Windows installer is now digitally signed, and every release is built through an automated, tested release process. See Is It Safe? for how to verify a download.
If you uninstall on Windows and choose to delete app data, a non-empty quarantine vault is moved to a rescue folder first instead of being wiped.

Made the script-mod on/off switch (now on the Health Report page) reliable and reversible.
Kept mod controls visible and usable on a clean Health Report.

Restore now reports exactly what happened to every mod, not just an overall success message.
Restoring a file will not overwrite an existing file in your Mods folder.
More accurate detection of corrupted vs. simply unreadable script mods.
Hardened save-backup safety checks.

Health Report now names OneDrive specifically when it's interfering with save backups.
More accurate reporting of what the deeper compatibility checks actually examined.
Fixed a false "damaged game install" report.
Additional safety hardening around quarantine paths.

Added safety screening alongside mod compatibility scanning.
Clearer, more honest in-app and website copy about what the scanner does and doesn't check.

Initial public launch: full mod scanner, quarantine system, guided 50/50 isolation tool, Health Report, and dark mode.

Original MVP build — the foundation the scanner, quarantine, and Health Report grew from.
